Every time that you open a Microsoft Office application, such as Outlook , you receive the following message: Please wait while windows configures. I’ve just installed Microsoft Office Professional Plus this week on my Windows 7 Home Basic x64 laptop. Before, I had Microsoft Office Starter already. Right-click the Office application icons and click on Run as Administrator and allow the installation to complete and then try re-opening Office applications.

However, first of all, try running Word from an Administrator account and see if the configuration completes successfully. Here’s how to do it: Click the Tou logo on the taskbar and type in winword. In the list of search results, right-click Word and choose Run as Administrator.
